I see minty colors and I think chilly (the nice kind), feminine, soft and spring-inspired. A great thing about this flattering shade is that it looks good against any skin color. It’s so cute that I get excited when I see it on any fashion item really, not just swimsuits. But in the spirit of the best category in fashion, I’m excited to share my top mint picks from our collection.
For you busty fashionista’s, the Mint Tube Bikini by ViX Swimwear is right on trend. The thick halter straps will give you the support you need, while gathering at the top with gold details for a sexy finish. Little Miss Kim Kardashian herself couldn’t resist wearing a two-piece that matched this look. Leave it to ViX to think of you as a celebrity.
I don’t want you ladies to think I discriminate against one piece swimsuits, so my next favorite is the Kelli Aqua by MAIO Swim. The texture of this fabric is so delicious with a soft cream lining inside to cover your goods. Yes, I called it delicious. My favorite feature on this bandeau one piece is the gathered fabric at the center of the bust to give you some awesome cleavage.
There’s nothing more enticing than a bikini with two trends: the mint shade and the ruffle detail. Tori Praver Swimwear hooked it up when they designed the Sea Glass bikini. I love the back view of this two piece, it’s very unexpected.
The mint bikini that is the epitome of spring to me is the Hunter Sea Estella by L*Space Swimwear. The flutter detail on the top is so breezy, who wouldn’t think of the season!?
Lolindo Jewelry's vintage inspired, budget friendly collection classically combines gold hardware with accents of nature for a feminine, boho appeal. While these stunning pieces will turn heads on their own, we've aspired to create 2013 swimwear combinations that'll leave jaws on the floor. BE BOLD: Combine aspects of this coming years fashion trends such as color, print and texture with their Heart Green Necklace by pairing it with the Seafolly Kiara Envy Bandeau seen above. I feel like the green tones really make you become one with nature. I also just die over the bright tassal at the end of the necklace. When you see it in person you'll be so pleasantly surprised by it's quality and luxury. Looking for something a little more on the wild side? Try Malai Swimwear's 2013 Vintage Memento bikini with the stunning White Necklace for a treasured day to evening look! I ... read more!

As pictured above, our South Beach store has 1 full wall devoted to all our inner-Princesses and fanatics of all things fun and flirty! Some of our favorite styles are pictured below, but to really appreciate the appeal of these Whimsical prints and patterns you need to head in and see for yourself! There are a couple of things that are must-haves when you go to the beach. Even though with the recent summer heat I would highly recommend an umbrella and some SPF 30, at the top of my ‘fun’ beach must-haves are some of the newest styles of the latest trends. Our most popular trend to date has to be all of our fringe swimsuits. From halter tops to monokinis, this style has been flying off of our metaphorical shelves since its debut with The Orchid in October. Recently, Despi Swimwear came out with their own line of fringe to keep the coveted bohemian style alive. To continue the spirit of new styles, we also recently added some of Florabella’s classic line of wide and small brim beach hats. These hats are designed for the ultimate fashionista, as many of them seem perfect for your long-awaited ... read more!
Memorial Day marks the long awaited moment where all of the pools open up to the public for the summer. Very exciting! If you’re not pool ready yet, and don’t know where to begin, have no fear! The Orchid would never let you start the summer without a plan. Here are our five pool party tips you’ll need to survive this summer! 1. Protect Your Skin We know being tan is almost everyone’s goal, but what’s more important: Protecting your skin from sun damage or glowing for a week? You’re supposed to say protecting your skin from the sun! Wrinkles are the last thing on every woman’s ‘want’ list, so make sure you stock up on a facial moisturizer that has SPF 15 and a sun block for your body that has at least 30 SPF. Not only are you not looking to turn into a leather bag for the summer, ... read more!
