SI: SWIM EDITION 2013! SEXINESS ALL OVER THE WORLD!
It’s February again. A month filled with love… and history… but best of all SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT EDITION! And to no one’s surprise, Kate Upton has graced the cover once again! The curvaceous bombshell goes “Polar BARE” in Antarctica, wearing nothing but a string bikini bottom with her matching parka. This teeny bikini trend continues throughout her entire Antarctic shoot, where Kate keeps it simple in all white bikinis. Antarctica is just one of the seven continents conquered by this year’s SI:SWIM magazine. These globe-trotting models flaunted the most coveted bikinis just about everywhere! Sports Illustrated’s South Africa Edition LOVES The Orchid Boutique
I was so excited to stumble upon a recent Sport Illustrated: South Africa Edition. To my delightful surprise, they had their gorgeous models wearing A TON of our 2013 bikinis, including future looks that have yet to come! But don’t worry, they are on their way. From Seafolly to Maaji Swimwear, the models were ROCKING 2012 and 2013 styles like monokinis and triangle top bikinis. My favorite look on one of their models is the festival-inspired Brazilian cut bikini debuting in February for Seafolly’s 2013 collection. The scrunch detail on the triangle top is great for accentuating your bust, and making it look larger than it is. I am loving the scrunch detail craze this season. Designers: Please keep it coming! Fun Fact: The birth of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition
We take it for granted now: another year, another issue of Sports Illustrated: The Swimsuit Edition! But did you ever wonder how a sports magazine came around to publishing a yearly issue dedicated to women in bikinis? It all started one slow winter at Sports Illustrated headquarters. With nothing going on in the sports world to write about, editor Andre Laguerre had to come up with something to flesh out the pages of his magazine. So he called in young fashion reporter Jule Campbell to help him out. His question for Ms. Campell? "How would you like to go to some beautiful place and put a pretty girl on the cover?" There had actually been a Swimsuit Edition earlier that year, featuring Babette March, but it hadn't garnered too much attention. Sports Illustrated 2009: Agua Bendita Swimwear
For the third year in a row, Agua Bendita Swimwear graces the pages of the hottest Swimsuit Issue of the year, Sports Illustrated. This time it’s with the Agua Magica bikini, a couture suit featuring underwire cups and a special crochet design below the bust. In the trendy orange and fuchsia tones for this season, Agua Bendita created a heart-shaped design with textured fabric that is crocheted onto the suit. Aptly name Agua Magica (Magic), this suit will make heads turn. The very sexy model Julie Henderson poses for the SI shoot. Shot in Cappadocia, Turkey, this shoot is inspired by a Mediterranean theme. The sandy mountains in the background as well as the head covering represents the inspiration behind the sexy shoot.
