Lola’s Travels + The Orchid Boutique = Besties
As most of you Orchid Boutique lovers know, we are hosting a contest to win a $200 gift card to our boutique with the lovely @LolaDiMarco from Where in the World is Lola. In the spirit of fun, Lola herself came down to Miami to visit us at our South Beach store and try on all the bikinis we could think of! She was such a good sport, let me tell you. But with her great bikini body, I am not too surprised!
Lola and I both picked out our favorite silhouettes for her to try on, from fringe tops to Brazilian cut bikinis. In the name of swimwear, she didn’t refuse any options. You gotta love a woman who calls swimsuits ‘her candy.’
Her final ‘Lola Approved’ swimsuit inspired by our contest was the one and only Bendito West designed by Agua Bendita. I personally picked out the style for her and am happy that we are on the same fashion wave length. I casually mentioned that she and I should do this all the time. Who doesn’t love shopping with a friend?!

What to Wear in the Heat
I know – it seems obvious. But recently I went to Gay Pride weekend on Miami Beach and I was so grateful of my outfit choice. First of all, if it’s daylight and taking place on South Beach, I will be wearing a bikini as my undergarments without a doubt. It’s just a must to always to have the option of a quick dip in the ocean with our level of heat and humidity. But I’ll also be wearing a crochet cover up and sandals so my body can breathe.
