We were excited to see Lucky Magazine recognize some of our chic 50s style bathing suits in their May feature: The Lucky Swim Guide: Old Hollywood. One of our coveted styles mentioned is the lovely Sophia Bustier in an orange and white gingham print designed by Seafolly. The bustier top gives the perfect pin-up girl allure, while providing support with it’s soft cups and underwire lining. It’s hipster bottom has a feminine ruffled edge and full coverage in the rear. We just love this bikini and it’s homage to stylish women in the 1950s found in every detail, while still being fashion forward.
Lucky Mag’s next pick was Orchid Label’s Red Rapture Push Up, focusing on ‘the beauty of the molded top.’ The beauty is it gives you great curves and support with our underwire and built-in cups behind an elegant ruching detail. Do we even have to mention it’s fierce shade of red!? This is definitely the perfect color to wear with any skin tone. The top’s neck strap is removable which gives a great 2-in-1 feel, and is perfect if you’re not a fan of tan lines. The hipster bottom has a playful ruffle around the edges with moderate coverage in the rear.
