Coastal Living’s February 2012 issue featured a style section devoted to swimwear, perfect for the Coastal Living woman. “Suit Yourself” picked out “Sporty…Flirty…Fun!” styles to keep stored in your seaside home’s dresser or to pack along in your luggage for your next resort getaway. Sporty and casual styles with loads of sophistication seem to be exactly what the editor was looking for this time around. We’re thrilled to see not one, not two, but THREE of our luxury swimwear designers featured on this single page alone.
A nautical wonderment, perfect for anyone with a boat, designed
by Nanette Lepore is featured for it’s sophisticated style. The Riviera Stripe One Piece is a pin-up inspired style fit for a goddess. Featuring a plunging neckline, this suit shows off the perfect amount of cleavage, not too much and not too little…every woman’s dream, right! The top also features removable padding for shape and support. A high-waisted illusion is created with the combination of striped and solid fabrics. This one piece wonder provides full coverage at the rear and is just begging for you to pack along in your bag.
Another gorgeous pick from this magazine feature is the Monaco Apricot Bikini by L*Space Swimwear. We’re sure you’ve heard about this style before, previously spotted on the likes of Nicole Scherzinger. This fresh fruit colored two piece is not only extremely comfortable and a worry-free choices along the waves, but it’s gold hardware detailing adds the perfect touch for some glamour. A triangle top silhouette with removable padding allows for adjustability and shape and support. This style flatters all bust sizes and the moderate coverage bottom gets the perfect amount of ‘cheeky’. Choose this style as an easy option and pack in your weekender bag.
Our third featured designer from this fab Coastal Living style feature is a new addition to The Orchid Boutique family, Seafolly. Hailing from Austalia, this designer oozes with pin-up and retro inspired pieces. This one piece swimsuit with boyshort bottom and rouching at the center panel is a similar silhouette to the La Vita One Piece and the Sorrento One Piece. Be sure to view these similar styles for your weekend escape to your shore home.

The extremely talented and very lovely singer and judge from The X-Factor, Nicole Scherzinger enjoyed a little rest, relaxation and pure fun south of the border earlier this month in Mexico. Nicole recently wrapped up the first season of The X-Factor in the United States. The lead singer from the all-girl group Pussycat Dolls departed the group to pursue a solo career back in 2010. (We love all her songs!) Although we agree she may have had an unfair advantage with her talented career, Nicole won the tenth season of Dancing with the Stars in 2010. We only wish we could sing, dance, and of course look as hot at her.
Nicole seems to enjoy long walks on the beach and horseback riding along the shores…sounds like a dating profile, but it’s true. Nicole was spotted horseback riding along the beach and even gave ...

Olcay Gulsen a top Dutch fashion designer knows a few things about what looks good on. She’s received numerous awards and made appearances on shows like Project Catwalk and Holland’s Next Top Model. Olcay splits her time living between Amsterdam and London and is engaged to retired Dutch football player Edgar Steven Davids. The couple visited Miami and enjoyed the sun together.
Olcay chose a bikini for Miami that looked fabulous with her hair and skintone, but the best feature about the Mali Halter Bikini by Vix is that it truly compliments every skintone. Green and gold hardware detailing allows this coral hued snakeskin print to pop just the right amount. Coral is a popular color again this swimwear season. We've seen this trend on the runways by designers such as Missoni as well as celebrities such as Brooke Burke.

One of the best parts about summer is not only the vacations, cruises and beach time, but also the fabulous pool parties. Pool parties area great time to meet with friends and enjoy food, fun, and good company. While some places aren’t as beach accessible, pools are nearly everywhere in cities and neighborhoods across the USA.
However, you must ensure that you have an amazing swimsuit when you head to pool parties (especially here in Miami, it’s extremely competitive, kind of exhausting). Every city seems to have their own style when it comes to choice of swimsuits and you must play the part. So if you are headed to a pool party locally, or are visiting a friend in a different city, we have swimsuit pool party choices that will suit you perfectly wherever you are.

Miami Swim Week 2012 has wrapped up and many celebrities came out to enjoy the swimwear, parties, and of course, the beach! Kristin Cavallari walked in one of the shows and Whitney Port attended some of the festivities as well. Singer Ciara joined in on the exciting week and even took a little time to herself to take a dip in the ocean. The singer was not only down here for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim, but also to perform in a concert series with Taio Cruz.
Nonetheless she looked stunning in a pink sequined bikini during her time off. The teeny bikini showed off her amazing legs and flat stomach. Sequins has been a huge trend on the runways, and is translating over to swimwear. Ciara pulls off the pink number very well and we must say, WOW.

Sunday night celebrities and faux celebrities invaded the city of angels for the annual BET Awards. The award show was hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, with a variety of singers, actresses, TV and media personalities strutting the red carpet. Chris Brown was the big award winner of the night, winning in five categories, including male R&B artist and video of the year. However, the big style award winner definitely went to R&B singer Kelly Rowland.
The singer graced the red carpet in a fuchsia colored Notte by Marchesa dress from their fall 2010 collection. The sleeveless dress featured streaming ruffles down the front and a bright color that popped in the Los Angeles sun. Ruffles, as well as the stunning fuchsia color, have been huge on red carpets and appearances all throughout Hollywood. Both details give a girly yet sexy feel to any outfit. And while we love seeing them ...
