Spring is a time of rebirth. There’s suddenly a warm, gentle feeling in the breeze, birds begin to chirp, and flowers begin to bloom. If you’re like me and don’t necessarily love the winter, it feels like a relief to see the leaves beginning to grow back on the trees, a sure sign that warm weather is on the way. And what better way to celebrate rebirth than with a fresh pop of color? This spring, designers are taking to a particular shade of green. The runway is loving a citrusy shade of lime green, as seen below in the 2013 collections of Christopher Kane and Gucci.

And guess what? The swimwear world is loving this happy shade of green as well. L*Space in particular has some amazing pieces in their 2013 collection that features this color. Check out the Mad Mesh Bikini and the Audrey Citrus Foxy Bikini (featured in Sports Illustrated!), below.

What else does the fashion on the runway have in common with fashion in the swimwear world? Both are not afraid to mix this fresh lime shade with a color that we all love: army green! Marissa Webb pairs a bright, spring green ensemble with a need-to-have-it army green blazer. She must have been reading L*Space’s mind, because their Citrus Mesh Bikini features a halter lime green top that has awesome fringe detail with a two-toned bottom featuring the same lime green and army green mesh detail. Love this color combo!

Happy spring!!!

From the runways, to celebrities…this thriving trend is invading many wardrobes and we’re hoping to inspire your own. Clean out your closets and make way for a little ethnic print, perfect for a day at the office to spice up your usual work week. Often coined “tribal prints,” ethnic prints come in muted colors, or bright tones. A great thing about ethnic trends: they’re super easy to mix and match, often seen with interior design.
When wearing ethnic prints, they tend to be an easy go-to casual style. Perhaps this is because of the flattering factor for this particular print? Since these prints are usually large and very geometric, they aid in distracting the eye from any unwanted areas. This trend is also great for dressing up, especially in bold black.
Take your wardrobe global with this trend, whether traveling to an exotic ...

Disney breakout star Ashley Tisdale certainly has her own style whether it’s out on the town or running errands; we like to think of it as a sophisticated yet casual California style. Ashley’s worn a wide variety of apparel for her acting and singing career including cheerleading uniforms for both The Disney Channel’s High School Musical and The CW’s Hellcats and Ashley’s had her fair share of tabloid magazine covers, usually for rumors regarding her love life, with those inevitable paparazzi shots.
It’s definitely a guilty pleasure to follow celebrity fashions from magazine covers to paparazzi pictures and we’re not the least bit ashamed of it because it gives us some style motivation. Ashley was snapped outside of Trader Joes shopping for her weekly grocery list in Toluca Lake, California and she wasn’t alone. Ashley was accompanied by Maui, her adorable 3 year old Maltese/poodle puppy. Donned ...
