Hunger Games actress has us drooling over gold
There’s no escaping it, the Hunger Games phenomenon has taken over with a box office smash hit earning $155 Million in it’s opening weekend. Elizabeth Bank’s eccentric character, Effie, in Hunger Games was an excellent portrayal of how flexible the actress can be. Her character Effie certainly dresses and dons make-up that Banks admits just isn’t her style, but the pale white face and bold colored garments added spice to her character’s already quirky personality. For Elizabeth’s personal style, we’ve been adoring her red carpet choices for all of her Hunger Game appearances.
The latest of her red carpet stunners was no let down: a short hemline, high-neckline, short-sleeved dress with nothing but glitter. Elizabeth’s gold dress featured slight ruffle detailing at the sleeves and architectural detailing throughout, providing a structured appeal. Horizontal lines on the bodice and skirt coupled with diagonal stripes at the bust to create excellent focal points at the waist. It’s the color and the shimmer that has us drooling over this gold gown.
There’s a new style from Beach Bunny’s appropriately named Bronze collection that has us in the same trance as Elizabeth’s dress; the Life is a Highway Triangle features nothing but glistening gold and bronze hues. This triangle top and elegant bottom feature ruffle detailing at the edges similar to Elizabeth’s dress sleeves. An all-over chevron print exudes sophistication and provides structural detailing. The hipster bottom provides Brazilian cut coverage at the rear. This swimsuit can simply be described as a smooth mix of natural hues for easy, chic sophistication.
