Hey there dolls, since fall is right around the corner (we know, we know, we will miss summer too! Though we won’t miss the hairstyle-wrecking humidity), we wanted to update you on one of the hottest new swimwear trends we’re seeing for this season: fuchsia! Check out the Gossip Girl style queen Blake Lively rocking this hot hue in an amazing sheath dress- she looks stunning!
We are clearly partial to this color (just check out our site for proof), and this season all the swimwear designers are catching on and featuring fuchsia toned swimsuits and cover-ups in their 2010 collections. A few of our favorite pieces that are the perfect exhibition of this trend are the Bardot Sequins (embellishments are also going to be huge this fall!) from PHAX swimwear and the Kale Bluson by OndadeMar.
We saw fuchsia all over the runway during Miami Fashion week last month, Betsey Johnson showed some amazing ruffled pieces in this hue and Poko Pano did the shade in velour (LOVE!). One of our favorite interpretations of this bright color came from the Colombian line OndadeMar.
