It happens to the best of us. Sometimes we just have fashion faux paus. And when it comes to choosing a black swimsuit that complements your body type, there’s few ways you can go wrong. And this is one of them.
Mariah Carey was spotted on Wednesday filming her new video on the beaches of Los Angeles, wearing, well, a not so flattering black swimsuit. We’re not ones to dissect bad swimsuit moments, but we can’t help but notice a couple of details that might have aided to make this image the thing that has bloggers a buzzin’. The plunging neckline presents a bit of a problem due to its length and width. Perhaps a v-neckline that sits at the bust might have presented a better fit, and helped with the pockets that arose at the sides above the waist. The shiny spandex material in this suit may have also attracted controversy. Don’t get us wrong, we love a bit of shine in a solid black swimsuit, but subtlety is key when it comes to sleek satiny shine.

oh my god, what possessed her to think that looks good?
It is definately not her best look
it doesn’t flatter her at all!
her hips seem to to large for such a bunch of fabric to go across them like that
and she has nice legs, here they don’t look good at all…
it’s amazing how even a gorgeous woman can look really bad in the wrong outfit.

very low cut to much clevage but she can pull that off
