Here at The Orchid Boutique, we are huge fans of Michelle Obama (come on, this woman wears everything from Target to Jason Wu and all of it looks fabulous on her!). But only once has she been seen in swimwear, and she was almost totally covered with a towel. So we got to thinking, if she were to hit the beach (and maybe the paparazzi left her alone) what would she wear? We of course have a suggestion for her based one of our favorite Michelle Obama looks.
A huge part of our infatuation with our fashionable first lady is her ability to wear gorgeous color and come up with unexpected combinations that look impossibly chic. We’ve been seeing her sport a lot of turquoise and purple, which we love! So here’s our pick for the swimsuit Michelle Obama should rock on the beach from the OndadeMar 2010 collection (coming out soon!):

The colors and pattern fit the First Lady perfect, I am unsure of the type of suit it is though.
she look good like an everyday person not a fake

Firstly, hilarious – but oddly enough, I think the suit….well, suits her. I’d hope she would go for a great vibrant pattern instead of just a solid.

i think she’ll be in the public eye for the next for years for sure, she should look for a great suit like this one to flaunt her figure

The paparazzi are dogs so I think she would need to stick to one pieces to cover up and not give them anything to wag their tails about.

and plus they look up even the smallest imperfection and blow it out of proportion

I think you’ve nailed it on the head, its conservative but still quite mesmerizing, not unlike Mrs. Obama herself.

This looks photo shopped. It looks to me like this is Michelle’s head pasted onto someone else’s body. Notice how the bathing suit strap and the necklace just sort of vanishes about 3 or 4 pixels before they reach her shoulder.
