If you love Nina Garcia as much as we do then you know she’s published three fantastic, and almost instructional, books about fashion and style.
Well much to our liking (here comes the fun fact), the famed fashion editor has mentioned one of The Orchid Boutique’s popular designers in her 2008 wardrobe guide, The One Hundred: A Guide to the Pieces Every Stylish Woman Must Own. On page 26, in the “B” chapter (the book is alphabetized), under Bikini, Nina Garcia lists none other than Onda de Mar as one of her favorite swimwear designers!

Here’s what she says about the bikini in her book: “The key to wearing a bikini is confidence, confidence, confidence. The girls that rock a bikini best do not necessarily have the most perfect bodies. But they do have the perfect outlook.”
Next on our reading list is Garcia’s recently released 2009 book, The Style Strategy: A Less-Is-More Approach to Staying Chic and Shopping Smart, a strategy we would definitely follow here at The Orchid Boutique. One place to start is one of her picks, and of course one of ours, OndadeMar Swimwear.

That is a great way to look at it. It is all about confidence. You have to love your body, and you will get some heads turning!

just know your body and work those clothes girl!
and get the close tailored to you body if they don’t fit perfectly
tailoring is always an option
know what your assets are and use them to your advantage

I agree I recently started wearing 2 piece suit and instead of critiquing myself I made good comments not negative. The power of a good reinforcement.
