Homegirl was rocking the monokini swimsuit that L*Space calls Stardust Fringe in black, while frolicking on the beach and doing a little surfing. The suit features a plunging neckline and fringe details along the bust for a standout piece. It outlines the body with two cutouts on the sides, flatters your rear with a cinching detail while also providing moderate coverage. The Stardust Fringe also comes in an ethnic print and in a nude color, which we have to mention, was just worn by Cameron Diaz in the June 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.

The suit, known as the “Peachy Lucky Hit”, was worn by The OC actress, which features an underwire bra and an abstract print.  Mischa was seen on the beach relaxing with a friend wearing the swimsuit, and must we say, wearing it well.  These days she’s looking more curvaceous and fills the swimsuit our perfectly.

Apart from the hot styles we shared with you earlier, there other sizzling styles featured in this year’s 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition that we are recommending. Apart from some exotic locations mentioned in previously, the SI editors decided to make body paint doubles of select luxury swimsuit styles. Among them is the fabulous Masterful Impact by Maaji Swimwear. Word has it the airbrushing artists worked on ‘mastering’ the print for hours and with the diversity in colors and patterns of this style, seems like they had quite a challenge ahead of them! However, the end product was flawless and model Kenza Fourati proclaimed in an SI video the artists were her ‘heros’. We’re sure she loved it!

Cleopatra Bikini by L*Space Swimwear

The other style that made waves (literally) in the spread was the Cleopatra Coral by L*Space Swimwear. This sophisticated but simple ensemble spruces up the look with gold hardware that slides up or down the straps as per  your preference. With the coral color being the “it” tone for Spring, this bikini was right on trend. We love the contrast of the hot salmon with the green palm trees.

Speaking of tropical looks, the Larwi Leaves bikini by OndadeMar also made its mark this year, modeled by [model name]. Shot in a hotel in the Philippines, this model shows us the meaning of dancing around in joy. She also featured a Betsey Johnson Swimwear style aptly named Rose Parade Hands One Piece. This one-piece swimsuit features a black gloves applique on mid torso and even showcases a rhinestone ring on one of the fingers! Truly whimsical and a staple of Betsey’s style.

Tides Embroidery by Vix Swimwear

Vix Swimwear had several styles features in the shoot, among others the Tides Embroidery suit. With its clear sequins and string bikini bottom, this number is recommended for women of all sizes. The adjustable triangle swimsuit top features removable padding for shape and support and allows you to adjust your cleavage area as you please. We love the shiny quality of the suit and gawk at how it shimmers in the sunlight.

A pop of color was certainly a feature when it comes to the bikinis featured, and the Salinas Swimwear 2011 style in the ‘Pina’ storyline certainly made the cut. With little pineapples featured in the print, the Pina coral bikini exudes an allure of fun and summery flair. If you’re into hipster bottoms, consider the Island Queen bikini by OndadeMar Swimwear. This bottom features thicker straps on the sides and low waisted fit.

Finally, we go gaga for the the Sunset Triangle by Paradizia Swimwear. With its strong fucshia and earthy tones, this bikini makes every skin tone shine. The thing about Paradizia Swimsuits is that their so effortlessly sexy. And just like its counterpart, the Adventure bikini by Paradizia goes oozes sensuality. A banded bottom with embroidered sequins makes the perfect setting for pinup style.

This year, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue went all out with their spread! With shoots in Fiji, Singapore, Hawaii, Anguilla, and the Philippines, the photos sizzled. The drop dead gorgeous models who posed this year for the shoot don’t hurt the case either. Some of our favorite picks for 2011:

Enter Cintia Dicker. We told you this girl was one hot contender! Even though she didn’t make the shoot she posed in a crazy cool OndadeMar Swimwear number (the Kalah Bar Bikini). With it underwire top feature and detailed gold embellishments along the bustline, the girl was flawless. A perfect way to highlight her freckles and red hair was with the animal print suit, which comes with soft molded cups and moderate coverage at the rear.

Hilary Rhoda didn’t disappoint either in a sexy yet sporty shoot off the coast of an exotic island. Unafraid of the deep ocean wildlife, the girl dove right in there for a water session and even got her surf on in one of our favorite designers, Agua Bendita Swimwear. Donning the Bendita Francia bikini she shows us that functionality and fashion can go hand in hand and do not need to eliminate each other. This meticulously embroidered suit features tiny flowers over a solid black print and the string bottom is just the icing on the cake of fit.

Hilary also donned a fringe bikini by Maaji Swimwear with a fun and flirty flair, the Turquoise Barricades suit. This vociferous print features zig zags of turquoise and yellow and uses fringe to create a ruffle air. Love.

Irina Shayk in Vix

This year’s cover model Irina Shayk (which we predicted by the way) flaunted a very sexy string bikini by Vix Swimwear. Also in acqua and turquoise colors, this brazilian hottie shows us the versatility of the Batik Ripple fit. A simple style with removable padding and strings at the sides does the trick. The real gem in this design is of course the jaw dropping brazilian cut bottom, which features a scruch-like cinching down mid rear. Not only helps to enhance but provides a heart shape that’s just irresistible.

Another red hot shoot involves none other than Andy Roddick’s girl, Brooklyn Decker. The “Just go with it” star and former SI cover model graces the pages of the mag in a shoot worth drooling over. In a sexy roll-around-the-sand scenario, Brooklyn flaunts the very sexy Rainforest Bikini by Paradizia Swimwear, and we are just gaga for it. The detailed embroidery and sequins give this luxury swimsuit an extra touch of specialness, that put together with a hottie like her, it’s like gold.
