I’ve always thought of Cosmo as a ‘big girl’ publication, even though, technically, I am now their target market. But because of that notion, I was ridiculously excited when Cosmopolitan featured one of our Tori Praver bikinis in their May 2013 issue.
For their summer issue, they discussed bikini silhouettes that compliment specific body types – a favorite subject at the Orchid Boutique! You should our office on a typical day. I often try on different tops over my clothes. Anyway, Cosmopolitan considers the Sea Glass Bikini as a great two piece to boost a smaller bust. Because of the bikini’s flirty ruffle detail, it creates the illusion of curves. As a girl who hasn’t changed cup sizes since 8th grade, I’m going to have to agree with Cosmo on this one. I love any kind of beading, fringe or ruffle detail on my bikini tops. I find them to be more subtle than extra padding, but gives me a similar effect.

The ladies at Cosmo also agree with us at the Orchid and recommend pin-up style bikinis for curvier women. The beauty of a pin-up bikini is they accentuate your curves while supporting every inch of you. What about if you have long legs? Well, first of all I’m jealous. But also, if you’re crazy enough to think all swimsuits won’t look good on you, you should hop on the monokini train. The fabric covering your torso will shorten your body length. The things I would do for long legs…

Tons of gorgeous models in fabulous bikinis were featured just a week ago in this years Sports Illustrated: SWIMSUIT EDITION! And these styles have gotten more popular than ever.
Did you like the SI styles you saw strutted all over the world? Shop these looks now!
Kate Upton killed it in this simple, yet chic white triangle bikini. The gold hardware added just the right amount of flare! The Celebrity Stardust bikini from Vitamin A Swimwear has the same key features for a look right straight from the magazine!
The gorgeous Nina Agdal wore a beautiful watercolor-inspired bikini, similar to L*Space Swimwear’s Adia Vapor bandeau bikini! The subtle colors look perfect for a day at the beach!
I for one can never have enough sequin on my swimsuit. And that’s why when flipping through the SI pages, I was so excited to see this string ...

It’s February again. A month filled with love… and history… but best of all SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT EDITION! And to no one’s surprise, Kate Upton has graced the cover once again!
The curvaceous bombshell goes “Polar BARE” in Antarctica, wearing nothing but a string bikini bottom with her matching parka. This teeny bikini trend continues throughout her entire Antarctic shoot, where Kate keeps it simple in all white bikinis.
Antarctica is just one of the seven continents conquered by this year’s SI:SWIM magazine. These globe-trotting models flaunted the most coveted bikinis just about everywhere! Lucky for them, they didn’t have to be half naked in Antarctica… but I guess cover girl has to pick her battles ;)
In South America it got super hot with model Chrissy Teigen wearing the Bendito West, one of our favorites of 2013 from Agua Bendita!
Plus, tons of shots of ...

I just recently discovered the beautiful Irina Shayk because she has glorified our 2013 Agua Bendita pages with her amaze-balls body. The girl is hot. There is really no other way to describe her. In one of my routine searches for celebrities in bikini (I’m a bikini lover, what can I say), I spotted her wearing a two piece swimsuit designed by Beach Bunny Swimwear.
She is wearing last season’s shade of bright orange in the Feels So Right bikini. It’s the perfect color for her day out on the yacht. The leather details connected to the gold hardware links give this triangle bikini a nautical vibe with a hint of luxury. If you can peel your eyes off of her top long enough you’ll see that she is one of those brave souls who rock a thong to the beach. A Beach Bunny thong, mind you, meaning ...

Monica Wise, the designer of L*Space Swimwear, has broadened her horizons to reach a whole new audience of fabulous women. Her newest line, MAIO Swim (pronounced my-oh), is catered towards the sophisticated woman who is a little bit older than the everyday L*Space girl, but is still very interested in being trendy. Just because we are all climbing up the age ladder, doesn’t mean we have to leave our style behind!
Recently, one of MAIO’s textured teal ‘mid-kini’s’ were featured in InStyle Magazine’s December 2012 issue. InStyle considered the 50s-inspired two piece to be the perfect choice for a "hot and cool escape." Sounds exotic... This is a really big deal for MAIO since that particular piece of high-waisted awesomeness won’t be debuting until late December, meaning InStyle knows what’s up! I love the fact that the bottom is high-waisted, but actually provides moderate instead of full coverage ...

We all know fringe bikinis have been the hottest trend this season, but it looks like the fad has taken over everyday life. I was so excited to see the Dancing with the Stars All Star contestants embrace the trend in their costumes.
My favorite fringe costume was worn fabulously by Karina Smirnoff, who has also become my favorite dancer. I have to say that having the super hot Apollo Ohno on her arm might have something to do with it. Regardless, I died when I saw her in the colorful fringe dress with it’s bandeau top silhouette. I personally thought their disco version of Party Rockers was great, but Len Goodman said Apollo didn’t shake his hips enough. Looks like Len wasn’t looking where I was!
The fringe costume that I decided to vote FANTABULOUS was the nude illusion fringe one piece worn by Kym Johnson, Joey Fatone’s partner. ...
