Sienna Miller and Jude Law at the Met Gala

It was a magical night at Monday night’s Met Gala, where stars and fashion royalty alike celebrated the Costume Institute’s “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity”. We are astounded by the fabulous looks on the red carpet last night. In particular surprised when Sienna Miller showed up with her ex beau Jude Law! Even though the couple had their ups and downs following accusations of infidelity a couple of years back, we get the impression she’s always loved him.

Shifting topics a bit, we’d like to address the fabulous Emilio Pucci dress Sienna chose for this event. Navy and royal blues are in this season, and its varying shades transfer flawlessly onto designer swimwear styles. All couture runway trends in some shape or form transfer onto designer swimsuits, and this is no exception.

As a swimwear blog, we are always on the hunt for new post-baby bikini pictures. We are inspired by moms who are able to get their pre baby figure back, and be confident in themselves enough to flaunt a luxury bikini! As is the case with Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, recently spotted with son Bronx Wentz at the beach in Hawaii.

Whoopsy daisy, Kimmy. It seems the churn of the waves misadjusted your swimsuit bottom. How is this referred to, we wonder? Butt slip? We’re not sure.

What we are sure of is that a) you look great in a swimsuit, b) string bikinis flatter you, and c) you probably needed to go up a size on this one. It’s vital to make sure the bottom covers you at least until the small of your back begins!

Just like Kim’s look, swimsuits with brassy tones are great for fair skin types as well as darker tones because it brings out the contrast and usually have a bit of gradient to them.
